Scope of Service
Who Provides These Services
Services through ReDefined Mission are provided by Jeffrey T. Crick, who holds a Master's-level degree in Human Services Counseling, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling, and is a Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach (MMHC-BC) with additional certification in Leadership Coaching through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Jeffrey is currently completing a second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
What We Offer
ReDefined Mission provides:
- Pastoral coaching — one-on-one and group sessions integrating Christian principles, biblical wisdom, and spiritual disciplines (prayer, Scripture, theological reflection) with practical coaching methods
- Christian leadership consulting — for pastors, ministry leaders, and organizations
- Iron ReDefined — a free, faith-based peer brotherhood community (not a clinical group therapy program)
- Educational content — devotionals, books, courses, and video teaching grounded in Scripture and informed by clinical mental health concepts
What We Do Not Offer
We do not provide licensed clinical mental health diagnosis, treatment, or psychotherapy. Jeffrey T. Crick is not a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychologist, or Psychiatrist. ReDefined Mission does not treat psychiatric disorders such as severe depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or clinical anxiety disorders requiring licensed intervention.
Iron ReDefined community participation is pastoral community, not group therapy. Moderators are not therapists and do not diagnose.
The Key Distinction
There is an essential difference between:
- Faith-based pastoral coaching (what we provide): integrating biblical truth with practical life coaching to address life challenges, relational struggles, burnout, and spiritual growth.
- Licensed clinical mental health treatment (what we do not provide): diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders by a licensed professional.
Clinical Referral Policy
If, during coaching or community participation, it becomes clear that your needs go beyond our faith-based scope — or if you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or thoughts of harming others — we will:
- Urge you to contact emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately
- Help connect you with licensed mental health professionals, psychiatrists, or medical clinicians who can provide appropriate clinical-level care
- Continue to walk alongside you in pastoral support, where appropriate, alongside your clinical care — not as a substitute for it
In a Crisis Right Now
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or are in immediate danger:
- Call or text 988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (24/7)
- Text HOME to 741741 — Crisis Text Line
- Call 988, then press 1 — Veterans Crisis Line
- Call 1-800-662-4357 — SAMHSA Addiction Helpline
- Call 911 — Imminent danger
ReDefined Mission's services are not designed or equipped to respond to emergencies. Please use the resources above for anything urgent.
Your Well-Being Comes First
Our highest priority is making sure you receive the level of care that actually fits your needs — whether that's pastoral coaching with us, licensed clinical care, or both together.
